(now known as Country Club Capital Advisors) provides services to middle-market companies, both public and private, in three principal practice areas: M&A advisory, capital sourcing and corporate financial and strategic planning. The small firm was a leader in several industry sectors but had a lower profile and could be overshadowed by long-term players in the area who were entrenched as the go-to guys in M&A. The goal of the program was to position Christenberry Collet as the authority on all matters relating to mergers and acquisitions.

Solution
Sturges Word introduced and established Christenberry Collet as experts to the local media. In addition, the agency created the Christenberry Collet M&A Report, a rigorous annual compilation and analysis of area M&A activity that would cause reporters to source Christenberry Collet on the topic rather than its local competitors or those working for Wall Street firms.
