Toni Alexander, Business Development Manager

Toni works with the agency’s development and real estate accounts and is responsible for developing and deploying strategic communication programs that include media relations, crisis communications, event planning, and branding. Her industry experience includes mixed-use and retail developments, commercial construction companies, architectural firms, and commercial real estate companies. She also works with financial services, and not-for-profit clients at SWC.

Toni recently completed her three-year term as a board member for Friendship House/Catherine’s Place, an organization that provides transitional housing to women (and their children) recovering from addiction. During her tenure on the board she served as chair of the organization’s marquee annual fundraiser, the Kansas City Chocolate Festival. She previously was as a member of the Atlanta chapter of PRSA, the Atlanta Press Club, and a volunteer with Hands-On Atlanta.

A native of Kansas City, Toni lived and worked in Atlanta and Minneapolis for 13 years before returning to Kansas City in 2004. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in mass communications from the University of Central Missouri.
