Emily Pastrovich, Design Director

Emily leads the design team at Sturges Word Communications. She works with clients from each of the agency’s practice areas to develop strategic creative solutions to their branding, identity, graphic design, and Web needs. Her industry experience includes clients in the architecture, development, education, engineering, financial services, legal, real estate, retail, public utility, and not-for-profit fields.

Emily’s work has earned awards from the Ad Club of Kansas City, the Kansas City Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, and the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association. An avid cyclist and outdoor enthusiast, Emily is a member of 360 Racing, a competitive biking team affiliated with USA Cycling. Through her team, she participates in trail building and rehabilitation projects, and raises money to buy bicycles for children in need. Emily has previously served on the planning committee for the Fur Ball, Kansas City’s largest annual gala and fundraising event for the local humane society. A native of rural Missouri, Emily earned her bachelor’s degree in design from the Kansas City Art Institute.
