We do not have any PR or creative job openings at this time. When we do, we prefer to see your resume and work samples in advance of our meeting. You will likely come in more than once to meet with agency staff and principals. We check references. We look to see that your fit for our work culture is as good or better than your fit in terms of experience or skills. We review with you the job description, compensation and benefits. If a position is offered, we spell out the terms of your employment clearly. Then we have a huge party, the centerpiece of which is you doing the dance of the seven veils while singing all the verses of “Oklahoma!”
Internships
At Sturges Word, our interns learn more than the latest techniques in photocopy collation and coffee preparation. Interns are an integral part of our client teams and gain hands-on experience in all aspects of program development, execution and client service. If you are a recent graduate or a student working toward a degree in communications studies, journalism, graphic design, marketing or related fields and you are serious about gaining real-world experience, we want to talk to you.
